What to Expect
Preliminary conferences in IAS 1 end with a signed order setting the full schedule, so the attorney who appears should come with deposition dates the client can keep.
Field Note: October 19, 2026
On October 19, 2026, our office appeared for a plaintiff at a preliminary conference. The court signed a preliminary conference order assigning the case to the standard track, with depositions about seven to eight weeks out and a compliance conference about twelve weeks out.
