Why Firms Choose Per Diem Coverage in Rockland County

Travel time from Manhattan to New City eats time and expense. A scheduling conflict on a critical Monday forces impossible choices. A trial appearance requires local counsel, and every hour matters.

We handle the appearance. You know the attorney has read your papers, understands your goals, and knows the judge. We confirm in 15 minutes. We report the same day. No guessing what happened or second-guessing the consent orders.

What Services Do We Cover?

  • Preliminary and Compliance Conferences. We negotiate discovery schedules, raise disputes, and protect your deadlines.
  • Status Conferences. Clear, efficient reporting on case status and next steps.
  • Motions. Summary judgment, motions to dismiss, motions to compel, orders to show cause. We argue substantively, with caselaw and CPLR support.
  • Depositions and EBTs. In-person and remote deposition coverage handled by experienced counsel with specific deposition experience.
  • Trial Readiness Calls. JCP calendar calls and trial readiness conferences.
  • Adjournments and Stipulations. When scheduling conflicts require an adjournment, we negotiate terms and draft consent orders.

How It Works: Three Steps, 15 Minutes

  1. Submit your request. Call 212-233-0666, text 917-686-3827, or use our online form below. Provide the case name, index number, judge, appearance type, date, and any specific instructions.
  2. Confirmed in 15 minutes. You hear back from our office with a personal confirmation. Not an automated reply. We tell you who is going, that they've reviewed your file, and what we need from you.
  3. Your attorney appears and reports. We handle the appearance. You receive a substantive written report the same business day, including what was ordered, what was discussed, and what you need to do next. Scanned court orders included.

Who Handles Your Appearance?

Rockland County appearances are handled by local counsel within the Law Office of Frederic R. Abramson network. Every attorney we send has more than 20 years in New York Supreme Court. Every attorney reads your file before the appearance and reports back in writing the same business day.

Rockland is a smaller civil docket than Brooklyn or Manhattan, which means the calendar moves faster and the judges expect practitioners to know their papers. We treat every appearance as a substantive one, not a warm-body coverage.
